Richard Tang-Wai, MD

Description

Dr. Tang-Wai is a pediatric neurologist and Director of Pediatric Epilepsy at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. He sees patients on the hospital’s St. Petersburg, Florida, campus. He joined the hospital staff in 2025. He was previously co-director of pediatric epilepsy/neurophysiology and associate professor at Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Tang-Wai has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and given many talks nationally and internationally. Dr. Tang-Wai earned his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal. He completed a pediatric neurology residency at Montreal Neurological Institute/Montreal Children’s Hospital and McGill University. He then completed a clinical neurophysiology and pediatric epilepsy fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio.
